The objective of Project 319 is to commence and sustain a ministry that provides food and necessities for the homeless and needy. These necessities include ready to eat food for the unhoused, as well as groceries twice a month for the housed, but needy, along with certain types of clothing such as coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, scares, shirts, pants and underwear. The Shiloh Church, through Pastoral vision from God, has initiated this effort in accordance with Proverbs 31:9 which states, "Open your mouth, judge righteously, And defend the rights of the afflicted and needy" (NASB version).
Center of Hope (COH) is just what it says. A shelter and Discipleship Program site where single women with children find hope and the support needed to take the first steps toward getting their families back on their feet, their children back in school, and emotional and spiritual healing. COH not only provides safe shelter for homeless and abused women and their children, but showers and 3 meals a day are available to them as well. The center is equipped with a library, learning center, life skill classes, a chapel, and a medical clinic, all on-site. Not only do they receive shelter, but both women and children learn about Jesus and the difference only He can make in their individual lives, and in the lives of their families. This is where hope begins.

The concept of “Ministry in the Middle” began in 2004 while founder Samantha Clark-Childs was balancing major transitions within ministry, education, and family life. It stemmed from Ms. Clark-Childs noticing patterns of who and what women turn to for help when they are in crisis or transitional situations and how often they are rejected and treated as inferior because of their circumstances. As she poured into the lives of women as a Bible teacher, mentor, and discipler, she continued to develop a ministry that focuses on her passion for encouraging and empowering women through the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

The outreach puts homelessness on blast through ministry exposes the severe crisis families and individuals are in. The goal is to shelter the homeless. After realizing there were so many people that just needed to know they were thought of, the Lord gave her the song: Where Are You? (Written and performed by her and Fred Hammond) LeTitia is committed to using her gifts to bring awareness to the world that there are people who feel abandoned and alone on a daily basis and are seeking hope and a hand. Her prayer is after you hear the words to her song you will not only be inspired but commit to serving those in need.
Our Vision:
To create an unparalleled space for homeless men and women in the Dallas area to transform their lives into productive community servants, resourceful and responsible men and women, who will be models of success.
Calvert Place Men’s Shelter serves adult homeless men and veterans age 18+. From the moment a new client walks into the shelter, they are shown the love of Jesus by both staff members and volunteers. The staff is prepared to address the very diverse and sometimes critical needs of each individual by providing hot meals, a comfortable bed, clothing, a warm shower, health and mental health clinics, and daily chapel service.
